In Ontario the requirements for becoming a real estate salesperson are as follows:
Pre-Licensing
8 week Entitled "Real Estate as a Professional Career"
Cost
(a) Complete 4 week correspondence course through O.R.E.A.

(b) Phase II& III may be taken at about 22 colleges of Applied Arts and Technology in the Province
 
(c) Complete a 2 week (60 classroom hours) of Phase II

(d) Complete a 3 week (90 workshop hours) of Phase III
$600.00
Pass mark on all 3 exams of not less than 75% must be attained.

Please Note: Application to the Real Estate Council of Ontario for registration (Real Estate License) as a sales representative must be made within one year of successfully writing Phase III exam.
